La Valnerina
Norcia, the Piana di Castelluccio and the Sanctuary of Santa Rita da Cascia. As well as doing it independently, you can do this as an organised tour, with prior reservation, with the "Freccia di San Francesco", a specialised tour guide, in an 8-seater minibus.

Lake Trasimeno
The towns that overlook it and the three islands, which can be reached via a pleasant boat trip; near the long lake there are several restaurants specialising in fish dishes, both from the lake and the sea.

Clitunno Park
Near Spoleto there is a small lake for trout fishing, where both adults and children can try their hand at fishing, helped by local staff. You can admire swans and ducks, and for children there are play areas along the nature trail.

The Franciscan Route
Visit San Damiano, the Eremo delle Carceri, the Sacro Tugurio of Rivotorto Porziuncola and Cappella del Transito, Lower and Upper Basilica of San Francesco, Basilica of Santa Chiara, Chiesa Nuova. You can also follow this itinerary by booking with a tourist guide who can give you more information.

Perugia, Assisi, Todi, Gubbio, Orvieto, Spoleto, Trevi
These are the main towns in Umbria and have many artistic and cultural attractions, with countless churches, different museums and monuments evoking the glories of the various historical periods.

Corciano, Spello, Bevagna, Montefalco, Deruta and Torgiano
These are just a few examples of other smaller villages, mainly of medieval origin, characterised by their alleys with floral decorations and their craft shops, which offer local handicrafts.

Village of Rasiglia
The village of Rasiglia is an enchanting place where you can rediscover the forgotten atmosphere of small ancient things. Between the stone houses and the small squares, the village is crossed by narrow streets alternating with wooden bridges, streams and waterfalls. In this unique setting you can walk in nature, lulled by the sound of the water, to discover the most picturesque views.

Val D'Orcia, Nature and Steam Train Tour
An old locomotive that will take you back in time, in a nature route that crosses the province of Siena, Monte Amiata and the Colle del Brunello, famous for its fine wine. This excursion is organised by the "Freccia di San Francesco", only with prior reservation.

The Sanctuary of La Verna
In the province of Arezzo, built on the spot where, on 17 September 1224, St Francis received the stigmata, there is a place of prayer and recollection for many pilgrims. The excursion is also organised by the "Freccia di San Francesco", and is completed with a visit to Chianciano, a major spa centre not far away.
