Discovering the Bosco di San Francesco
When visiting Assisi, don’t miss out on a walk in the Bosco di San Francesco, part of the Italian Environmental Fund’s heritage found at the foot of the grandiose Basilica di San Francesco, next to the historic centre of Assisi. It is an unspoilt area of 64 hectares with over 800 years of history, and includes woodlands and clearings, cultivated fields and olive groves.
